🐾 Meet Our Foundation Male – Magnus
 

Born on May 1st, 2021, this exceptional 4.5-year-old West German Show Line male is the cornerstone of our breeding program. Named Magnus after the world chess champion Magnus Carlsen, he embodies both high intelligence and irresistible charm. Handler-owned and trained from day one, he is highly food and toy motivated with excellent structure and a confident, stable temperament. He’s naturally social, wonderful with children, and settles easily in the home with a reliable off-switch.
 

He was the pick of the litter and represents everything we strive for — correct type, powerful presence, and balanced drive. He has a rich black and red stock coat, a distinct black mask, and a strong masculine head with solid working structure. Magnus stands at approximately 26 inches at the shoulder and weighs around    80 lbs, showcasing a powerful yet agile build.

Magnus is a true example of the versatility of the German Shepherd breed. His IGP2 title reflects his strong protective instincts and trainability, while his successful completion of HIT and PT under AKC herding demonstrates a solid herding skill, staying true to the breed’s original purpose. This rare combination of attributes is what makes him exceptional and special. He is currently in training for his FH1 Tracking Title, further proving his dedication and capability in focused scent work.
